It is completely possible to save lives just one pint a time. That is what makes blood drives such a great thing. The first blood drive of the 2015-2016 school year will take place Monday September 28th in the Small Gymnasium. Staring as early as Thursday September 17 students will be able to pick up forms during their lunches so they could participate in this drive to save lives. These forms must be filled out before student is authorized to donate blood. In order to participate the student must be at least sixteen years old and weight at least 110 pounds. If the student is 16 then they will the need the consent of a parent/guardian. If the student is 17 years old then they do not need the consent of a parent/guardian. Giving blood may pinch but it is essential. Please see Coach Davis or any other member of the Medical Society if you have any questions.
